Barrier function impairment may occur as a result of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. In light of the particularities of this skin ecosystem, and in line with its MEDI-SECURE approach, Bioderma has developed Cicabio Restor, a dermo-cosmetic product for superficial skin irritation and scars induced by certain treatments, particularly cancer treatments.

Repair and protect

ANTHENOL has been combined with HYALURONIC ACID. They help regenerate weakened skin thanks to their hydrating and repairing properties. The CAPRYLOYL GLYCINE, an antibacterial agent, protects the epidermis.

Comfort and resistance

The active ingredient ANTALGICINE™ is used to soothe feelings of discomfort. Three pure sugars strengthen skin resistance. This combination of actives ingredients helps to reduce feelings of itching.

Our approach respects NAOS ecobiology principles to better preserve the skin ecosystem and to strengthen its natural mechanisms.

Once or twice a day

Step 1 Cleanse the skin with a gentle hygiene product. Prefer showers than long baths. Do not wash with overly hot water.
Step 2 Dry the skin gently to avoid damaging the scars.
Step 3 Apply Cicabio Restor once or twice a day to affected areas.
Do not apply the product before radiotherapy session.
For superficial scars, the texture is suitable for massaging scars.
Step 4 Protects your superficial skin irritation and scars from the sun by using protective clothing.
Step 5 For hands and feet: protect your hand during manual work and wear wide fitting shoes and cotton socks.

During radiotherapy

Step 1 Apply the product once a day just after your radiotherapy session.
Do not apply the product before radiotherapy session

Superficial skin irritation and scars: Avoid exposure to the sun.

Damaged hands and feet: Protect your hands during manual work - Wear wide-fitting shoes and cotton socks - Consult a chiropodist-podiatrist.

If necessary, consult a healthcare professional. Do not apply before a radiotherapy session.
